Ginger has traditionally been used as an immune system booster and has shown to be effective against nausea and vomiting associated with motion sickness, pregnancy, and post-operative recovery. It also may be effective for chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting and for patients who continue to experience delayed nausea and vomiting despite treatment with other less effective anti-nausea drugs.
